House of Menzies, Castle Menzies Farm, Aberfeldy, Scotland.

Originally the Home Farm to Castle Menzies, this B listed steading was in a ruinous state. The owner wanted to rescue the building before it was too late and came up with the idea of converting it into a new world wine centre with shop and cafe.

Externally the building was sensitively restored. Internally however the approach was different. A modern approach enabled us to design out problems in the construction of the original roof and provide an elegant and interesting roof construction.
